I’m doing this a couple of days early this year.
Last 12 months performance of 8.1% gain versus ftse 350 9.6% gain. A slight under performance. Centamin was taken over, which is a shame because given the gold price run up, it likely would have outperformed.

and my 2 discretionary picks are: Anglo American at 2,275 and BP at 427.55. I didnt pick a third discretionary as i couldnt see any gold equities over $1bn.
On the whole i feel quite uninspired by the portfolio picks this time round.
