In the stock challenge this year i got a surprise to see myself not near the top of the leaderboard. I knew one of my picks ARGO Blockchain would have done very well off the back of Bitcoins price increase this year.
However – upon speaking to the organiser, i realised i had picked the wrong ticker! The ticker ARGO is another company, and Argo Blockchain is actually ARB!
The site shows my result as -19.85% for the year. With the correct pick it would be 113%. I’m goign to be cheeky and mark my return for the year as the latter – as that was my intended pick – i really have been a Bitcoin bull for years 🙂
FTSE 350 was +2.9% for 2023.
Note my picks for 2024 are similar – i think the lacklustre performance of gold copanies will very much reverse in 2024. Note i got Argo Blockchains ticker correct this time too!
